What we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Short version: we collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and enroll your child. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it for advertising, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
When you use a form on this site, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Your child’s name, age, grade, and school, if you provide them.
- The programs and schedule you’re interested in, and any message you write.
- Optionally, allergy, medical, or accommodation details you choose to share so we can care for your child safely.
- Basic technical information — the page you submitted from and your browser’s user-agent string — used only to detect abuse of the form.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to you and to administer enrollment. That means contacting you about your enquiry, arranging a visit, placing your child in a program, and meeting the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed child care provider in Maryland.
We never sell your information, and we never share it for marketing.
Information about children
Forms on this site are completed by a parent or guardian, not by a child. We ask for the minimum needed to place and care for your child safely.
Medical and accommodation details are optional at the enquiry stage. Access is limited to the staff who need it to care for your child. Full health records are collected later, on the licensed intake paperwork, not through this website.
Who can see it
Enquiries are visible to Grace’s Community Arts staff involved in enrollment and program administration. We use a small number of service providers to operate the site — a website host, a database host, and an email delivery provider — who process this information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to enrollment are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records for enrolled children are retained for as long as required by Maryland child care record-keeping rules.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you’ve given us. Email gracescommunityarts@gmail.com or call (240) 636-4134, and we’ll take care of it.
